A sales tool that cuts quote times in half?

 

Stäubli, you say Sjtoi-blee, is a Swiss industrial and mechatronic brand. You can tell it's Swiss just from the precision engineering in its MULTILAM technology.

These connectors carry massive currents inside medical equipment or industrial switchgear. Only problem? The sales workflow relied on manual engineering approval for every single configuration, making the process cumbersome.

As a solution, we embedded the engineering approval straight into a new sales app.

Calculating numbers is so 2006

 

In complex industrial sectors, a single miscalculation can kill customer trust. So we had to ensure sales and engineering could collaborate error-proof and in real time.

Instead of chunky email chains, our MULTILAM Selector provided a single source of truth for every role, in every project.

  • Notifications: Engineers are alerted the moment a project is submitted.
  • Transparency: Sales reps know exactly where a project sits in the queue.
  • History: Every comment or status change is saved and timestamped so that no knowledge is lost across teams.

Of course, in conversations with an engineer, a quote is nothing without a technical drawing. So if you were a sales rep, wouldn’t you want to have:

  • a manufacturing-ready blueprint on the fly?
  • with detailed, cross-section schematics?
  • dimension callouts and ISO notations?
  • material specifications?

Stäubli’s sales reps would, so we gave it to them. A dynamic PDF with all this info came straight out of the selector. All the customer had to do was sign off.
